HCDG offers four levels of ballet instruction.
*Ballet 1 – Begins at age 5.5 years. Ballet 1 serves as an introduction to the foundational techniques and principles of classical ballet, including posture, alignment, terminology, and basic movements.
*Ballet 2 – Begins at age 8, or earlier by invitation. Ballet 2 builds upon the foundational techniques learned in Ballet 1, introducing more complex movements, combinations, and variations. Students in Ballet 2 continue to refine their technique, strength, and artistry, preparing them for more advanced levels of ballet training.
*Ballet 3 – Begins at 12, or earlier by invitation. Ballet 3 is an intermediate level class that further develops and refines techniques. Students focus on increasing flexibility, strength, and coordination skills while learning more intricate combinations and variations. Â
*Ballet 4 – By invitation only. Ballet 4 is an advanced level class that continues to refine and expand upon the techniques learned in earlier levels. Students focus on mastering complex movements, developing artistry, and preparing for more demanding ballet repertoire and performances. This level emphasizes precision, musicality, and expression in movement.
