Tumble Tots

(Ages 3-4)

Tumble Tots is an introductory tumbling class specifically designed for children between the ages of three and four. This program focuses on foundational movements and coordination in a supportive environment, helping young athletes develop basic body control and confidence as they begin their progression in the sport.

Beginning Tumble

(Ages 5+)

The beginning tumble class focuses on establishing fundamental tumbling techniques and building the necessary strength for more advanced maneuvers. This class acts as the essential starting point for older children and provides the foundational skills required to progress into specialized levels like walkovers and handsprings.

Walkovers

The walkovers class represents the first specialized step in the tumbling progression. To enroll, students must demonstrate mastery of the fundamentals by successfully testing out of the Beginning Tumble level. This class focuses on the technical precision and flexibility required to execute front and back walkovers, serving as a critical bridge between entry-level tumbling and advanced power moves like handsprings.

Handsprings 1

The handsprings 1 class is an intermediate level within the tumbling progression that focuses on the development of foundational power skills. To enroll in this course, students must first demonstrate mastery of the required flexibility and control by successfully testing out of the Walkovers level. The curriculum is centered on the mechanics of the back handspring, emphasizing the proper body positioning, explosive leg drive, and arm strength necessary to perform the skill safely and consistently. This level serves as the essential gateway to more advanced power tumbling and multi-skill combinations.

Handsprings 2

The handsprings 2 class is designed for athletes who have already mastered the basic mechanics of the back handspring. Entry into this level requires students to successfully test out of Handsprings 1, ensuring they possess the consistent technique and power needed for more complex training. This class focuses on refining the skill and beginning the process of connecting multiple handsprings together, which is a vital step toward high-level series and power tumbling.

Aerials

The aerials class is a specialized level focused on mastering the no-handed side cartwheel. To qualify for this class, athletes must first demonstrate a high degree of core strength and leg power by successfully testing out of the Walkovers level. Training centers on the explosive lift and spatial awareness required to complete the rotation without floor contact, providing a unique skill path for those looking to add flair and technical variety to their tumbling repertoire.

Tucks

The tucks class focuses on the transition from horizontal power moves to vertical rotation. To enter this level, students must successfully test out of Handsprings 2, confirming they have the necessary speed and height in their round-off and back handspring series. The curriculum emphasizes the set and pull required for a back tuck, teaching athletes how to maximize their vertical lift and maintain a tight body position during the rotation for a safe and controlled landing.

Layouts

The layouts class focuses on high-level air position and rotation. To participate in this class, athletes must first successfully test out of the Tucks level, proving they can generate consistent height and power. The training centers on executing a back flip with a completely straight, hollow body position rather than a tucked shape. This stage of the progression is vital for developing the core strength and air awareness necessary for ultimate mastery of the sport.

Twisting

The twisting class represents the highest level of the tumbling progression. To enroll in this elite course, athletes must first successfully test out of the Layouts level, ensuring they have mastered the necessary height and air awareness. This class focuses on adding horizontal rotation to vertical flips, teaching athletes how to execute full and double twists with precision and safety. It is the final stage for tumblers looking to complete the most advanced skills in the sport.
